Ana Ramana grows up in a large family in 1960‘s Dublin, Ireland. When she experiences serial sexual violations by her father, a priest, and her godfather, and physical abuse by her brothers’ friends, she learns the necessity of secrets.
When teaching back in Ireland in the summer of 2000, Ana is struck in the skull by a load of lumber flying off a truck. This leads to a Near Death Experience, which profoundly reshapes her way of being.
